Bastille Weimar

Bach-Erlebnisraum

The world famous composer Johann Sebastian Bach spent the best part of ten years of his life in the city of Weimar, Thuringia.

Celebrating the authentic Bach-spaces of the region, the Weimar GmbH assigned Triad Berlin to design an audio-visual experience space in the Bastille, where Bach was briefly imprisoned in 1717.

A panoramic wall design sets the scene for the centre piece – a uniquely illustrated animated film. For this project I designed the wall graphics, exhibition labels and an introduction panel.
